Mark Wietecha, Chairman
Mark Wietecha joined KSA in 1985. He was promoted to Principal in 1989 and subsequently served as Managing Director of the firm’s health care practice and as a member of KSA’s global executive team. He joined the KSA Board in 1996 and was appointed Chairman in 2004. He also serves on the Board of KSA’s parent company, Management Consulting Group PLC. In addition to his leadership roles, Mark pursues an active consulting practice with a focus on academic and children’s medical centers. He has worked with nearly all the U.S.News & World Report Honor Roll band has been named one of Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants.
Jim Berarducci, President, Health Services Division
Jim Berarducci has been a major force in the growth of KSA’s Health Care Consulting Group for the past decade. Prior to becoming President in 2007, Jim was Managing Director, Health Services Division. In addition to his leadership role, he has excelled at creating long-term client relationships in a wide range of prestigious health care organizations. Jim is a trusted advisor with Boards and senior management teams in developing and implementing tailored strategies and capital plans. He has directed several large, complex, and multi-functional planning projects, and brings an outcomes-oriented focus to all of his engagements.
Jeffrey R. Hoffman, Vice President and Director, Strategy Services
Jeff Hoffman has been consulting to major hospitals and health systems in the United States for 20 years. He has also led some of KSA's major international work. Jeff advises clients on a broad range of strategic issues, and has worked with many Boards and senior management teams to revisit their core missions and strategic thinking about the future of their organizations. He also manages focused feasibility engagements, with proven expertise in both the technical and process aspects of planning. Jeff has authored several articles and is a speaker at many national conferences.
H. Scot Latimer, Vice President and Director, Facility Services
Scot Latimer has been advising organizations on effective business decision making for more than 25 years. As a KSA Principal, he has been called upon to conceive and manage some of the firm’s largest and most complex assignments in all regions of United States and most Pacific Rim countries. Scot leads KSA’s facilities and operational planning practice, and in 2006 served as President of the American Institute of Architects’ Academy of Architecture for Health.
Elaine Remmlinger, Vice President and Director, Information Technology Services
Elaine Remmlinger has 30 years of experience in the health care information technology (IT) field. She has directed significant client engagements in IT strategic planning, vendor selection, and implementation project management. Nationally recognized for her expertise, Elaine frequently speaks at industry conferences and writes extensively for industry publications. Prior to joining KSA, Elaine was a patient management/patient accounting system project manager at Mount Sinai Hospital of New York, a Medicare claims PSRO data processing director at Bradford National Corporation, director of the data division of the New York County PSRO, and a researcher for New York City Prison Health Services.
