As large multiple hospital systems have steadily emerged over the past few decades, often centered around our large tertiary clients, KSA has had the opportunity to work with the majority of the market leaders. These have included systems organized around community governance, religious orders, academic missions, for-profit missions, and government mandates. We have provided assistance at the "system" level, as well as at the local "hospital" level, with the majority of assignments involving both of these levels of organization.

Our work with a system's provider members - be they community hospitals, academic centers, children's hospitals, or physician groups - includes strategic, facility planning, and information technology planning. At the "system" level, our focus has been on system strategic planning, often heavily related to capital prioritization and geographic market development, system-wide facility master planning and resource prioritization, organization and governance related to board structures at the various levels, and overall information system strategy and architecture. We have considerable expertise in dealing with the diverse boards, communities, and medical staffs comprising most of today's leading multiple hospital systems.
